VillageQuill.org is a static informational archive. We do not operate user accounts, subscription lists, or e-commerce systems. Information may be collected in the following circumstances:

• Contact form submissions: When you use the contact form on the homepage, the information you enter (phone number, name, email address, and message) is transmitted to contact@villagequill.org. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not stored in a database or shared with third parties.
• Server logs: Our hosting provider automatically records standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are not used for marketing or sold to third parties.
• Cookies: This site uses a single functional cookie to record your response to the cookie consent banner. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies are set.

• vq_cookie_consent — stored in localStorage, not transmitted to the server. Records whether you have accepted or rejected the cookie banner. Expires when you clear your browser's local storage.

3. Third-Party Content

This site displays photographs hosted on Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser loads these images, your IP address is transmitted to Wikimedia Foundation servers in the United States. Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy applies to those requests: foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Privacy_policy.

This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google's privacy policy applies to that connection. No other third-party scripts, tracking pixels, or embedded content are present on this site.

4. Data Retention

Contact form emails are retained only as long as necessary to address the inquiry, after which they are deleted. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
